About Us

The idea to start my own hot sauce company came in the summer of 2021 when I grew habanero and Carolina Reaper peppers, and found the best way to use them up; hot sauce. I still had extra habaneros left, and family members had tomatoes to get rid of, so I developed a salsa recipe that is the most amazing, fruity salsa I've ever had!

I have always had a great passion for cooking and trying new foods, so I made the decision to pursue a career that would allow me to mesh my creative side and love for cooking together. Thus, High Peak Hot Sauce was born! I made a few batches of all four flavours, and sold around 150 bottles to friends and family. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and I am excited to now offer my sauces and salsa to the general public!

I have always enjoyed hot sauce, but never really found a hot sauce that added more to a dish than being simply vinegary and hot. While our sauces do contain vinegar, they have been developed to offer bold, precise flavours that elevate dishes beyond simply adding heat. This makes us stand out against your household hot sauce names.

Another unique aspect of High Peak Hot Sauce is that we grow the majority of our own produce. The long-term goal is to grow absolutely everything ourselves to ensure that we know where our ingredients come from, but more importantly, that you the consumer can trust that we use safe, home-grown ingredients!
